We've been watching church from home for the last several weeks because of weather and fatigue -- easier to sleep in and watch later in the afternoon. I took Aria tonight and went, though. I had eight weeks of tithe checks to turn in (balancing my checkbook has become an obstacle course!) It was nice to be back.
Our sons performed an incredible ensemble this afternoon at Solo & Ensemble with two of their friends, and received a GOLD for their performance. My camera died after about 30 seconds of recording because I have no foresight into charging the battery when important events are coming up. However, I'm forcing all of the boys to come over this week wearing their tuxes so they can sing it here and I can record them.
I think I'm going to turn in early -- our first full dress/tech rehearsal is tomorrow and I'm probably going to be at the theatre right up until the moment the Superbowl starts. Go __________s! (Insert whatever team name you like here. I don't really care, as my team is not in the Superbowl.)
Let's see if I can make it through ANOTHER week without going completely insane...
